Free Throw Championship

Knights of Columbus Council 2508 will again be holding a Free Throw Championship for boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 14 to provide an athletic outlet and encourage the values of sportsmanship and healthy competition. Kids compete within their own gender and age (9-11 and 12-14) and shoot 15 free throws. Whoever makes the most baskets at each age level can progress to the District competition with area councils. The winners can then move on to the Diocesan and State levels. The competition will be held on Saturday, January 13 in the Holy Angels Gym starting at 1 p.m. A parent must bring their child to sign the registration form. Children must either belong to the Holy Angels Parish or live in the Sturgis Public School District.
